Prints in 38º

My afternoon was filled with self-care activities that helped me reacquaint myself with parts of the city. i had lunch at Dukem, an Ethiopian restaurant here in Baltimore, explored an architecture library, pretended to be decor shopping in this upscale interior design boutique and browsed North Charles Street. Despite it being a chilly 38º day, i had my heart set on wearing this dress stolen from my mother's closet.  Being that i naturally love to layer, i had no problem throwing on some pants underneath to keep warm. i also knew i would be walking a lot and went for my New Balance 620. these shoes are truly an investment that i do not regret. i'm not much of a tennis shoes gal unless it's converses but i absolutely love my new balances. they're so comfortable and perfect for a wanderer who's always on her feet. As if my dress was not bright enough, I threw on a head wrap, because what's a Bilphena outfit without mixed prints? my favorite cozy socks and this necklace i purchased from a pop-up shop in the city for $2 completed the look! of course i added my favorite purple lipstick from mac (Satin Media) and i was off!
